The 2010 edition of the Sirris Materials Day will continue to revolve around 3 main themes : Composite Materials, Smart Materials and Sustainable Materials. However, the approach will be very different from the past editions. In fact, the feedback we received showed a need for a more in-depth approach. Hence this "interactive edition", an addition to the format of the past editions where more "theoretical" lectures were offered covering new trends and technologies.
In this interactive version of the Sirris Materials Day, we will continue to inspire you in two ways.
1. First of all, we are inviting expert speakers in the field of Composite Materials, Smart Materials and Sustainable Materials. They will set the boundaries for each theme during a short introduction.
2. After this introduction, we will work in several small discussion groups per theme, taking discussions to the next level whilst tackling your own specific questions.
To make this possible, we will ask all participants to contribute to the discussion, submitting any questions and challenges you've come across in your own work. Our speakers (all experts in their field) and Sirris specialists will then work with your challenges to make sure you will benefit in a very practical way, taking home tools and ideas and answers to (most of) your questions!
